Johns Hopkins Provost Office Holiday Card

The Bloomberg Student Center at Johns Hopkins University was completed in 2025, and the Office of the Provost wanted to spotlight it in its holiday e-card. The ask was for something that would make the building pop.

I took a series of raw images at the site, then built a Photoshop composite with snow, holiday decorations, and a starry sky. The client felt it was too austere, and didn’t show off the lights well enough. Going for a lighter and brighter feel, I rebuilt the image in Illustrator with a new sky. Lastly, I added a bunch of animated light flickers, twinkling stars, and a snowy foreground.
