Your brand tells your story.
Your story is my business.

Whether you’re a party of one or a Fortune 500 company, everything you present represents you. Your brand shouldn’t just look “nice” or “cool.” It should look unique, like you. Everything about your brand, from your logos and mastheads, books and booklets, presentations and the like, should tell the story of who you are and what makes you special.

One of the pleasures of being a freelance contractor is that I get to meet so many different people and hear so many great stories. Every project has at least one! Turning these stories into ideas that you can share with others isn’t just a business project, but a chance to be part of a creative, collaborative process. I want to hear your story, and help you tell it.

Once I have a sense of you, then I do what every good designer does: I drink a lot of coffee, say a lot of unprintable words, brainstorm, and sketch. Of the two or three dozen ideas that might make it onto a sketchbook, perhaps a half dozen make the screen, and from there, to your eyes.

Once a particular design or style has been decided upon, then it is refined and honed until it’s the best version of the story you want to share with the world.

A Quick Note on A.I.

I don’t use it. Large Language Models are built to collect stories then regurgitate them with a sheen of newness and an appeal towards lower standards.

Concepting for humans requires a human that cares about you. A.I. does not. Sorry, not sorry.
